46While Jesus was still speaking to the crowds, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him. 47Then someone said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers are standing outside, asking to speak to you.” 48But he replied to the one who spoke to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers! 50For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

31Then Jesus' brothers and mother came, and standing outside, they sent word to him and called for him. 32There was a crowd sitting around Jesus, and they said to him, “Behold, your mother, your brothers, and your sisters are outside looking for you.” 33But he answered them, “Who is my mother, or my brothers?” 34And looking around in a circle at the people sitting there, he said, “Behold, these are my mother and my brothers! 35For whoever does the will of God is my brother and my sister and mother.”

19Then Jesus' mother and brothers came to him, but they were not able to reach him because of the crowd. 20So some people told him, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, wishing to see you.” 21But he answered them, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
