The parable of the mustard tree

Matthew 13:31-32Mark 4:30-32
31He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field, 32which is indeed smaller than all the seeds, but when it is grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the sky come and nest in its branches.”[*] 30Then Jesus said, “To what can we compare the kingdom of God? Or what parable can we use to describe it? 31It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth. 32Yet when it is sown, it grows and becomes larger than all the garden plants and produces large branches, so that the birds of the sky can nest in its shade.”[*]
