Appearance to the Eleven in Galilee

A mountain in Galilee

Matthew 28:16-20

Mark 16:15-18

1 Corinthians 15:6

16Meanwhile, the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had directed them to go.

17When they saw him, they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18Then Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

6Next he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, most of whom are still living, but some have fallen asleep.

19Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

15He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17And these signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, they will speak in new tongues, 18they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will certainly not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.”
